On January 4th 2017, China Scholarship Council approved 57 International Cooperative Projects of Innovative Talents (ICPIT) this year. The project themed in "Intelligent Manufacturing" of BIT was approved. The funding term is three years.

BIT was approved four ICPIT projects from 2014 to 2016. The "Intelligent Manufacturing Project" is the fifth newly approved project of BIT, with an annual quota of 7 students.
