President Hu Haiyan Meets Minister President of Saxony, Germany

On November 21st, President Hu Haiyan met with a group of delegates led by Mr. Stanislaw Tillich, Minister President of Saxony, Germany at the BIT National Defense Science Park.

Hu Haiyan welcomed Tillich's first visit to BIT and briefed him on the history and major scientific achievements of BIT. In response to the cooperative interests raised by the delegates, he talked about the research strength of related disciplines at BIT. In addition, Hu Haiyan also reviewed the development of the master-degree educational collaboration in Vocational Education and Personnel Capacity Building between BIT and TU Dresden.

A brief introduction on the economy, education and scientific research of Saxony is presented by Stanislaw Tillich, who expressed gratitude towards Hu Haiyan’s hospitality.

Both sides also exchanged views on future cooperation in light materials and other fields.

Stanislaw Tillich and the rest of the delegation also visited the National Engineering Laboratory for Electric Vehicles and Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Intelligent Robots and Systems, and met with the alumni of the Vocational Education and Personnel Capacity Building Master Program jointly developed by BIT and TU Dresden.
